Bananas - the perfect snack!

Bananas are very healthy!
There is the belief that bananas are high in carbohydrates and thus fattening. But in actual fact, they are low in calories and high in fibre, which not only keeps digestion regular, but also maintains low blood sugar and curbs overeating.
They are very high in potassium, which not only favours low blood pressure but good bone health too. Bananas are good for digestive health, cancer prevention, are high in vitamin B6 and act as an anti-inflammatory agent, among numerous other health benefits.
Due to their high tryptophan and magnesium content, they have mood and sleep-regulating properties and thus are good against insomnia if eaten before bedtime or even in the middle of a sleepless night!
Enjoy an organic banana regularly in the diet.

Favourite Recipe

Winter Tonic – Life Force

Not feeling well?
Headaches?  Cold?  Cough?  Flu?  Stomach Bug?

Into a mug:  3 thin slices fresh ginger root, juice of ½ lemon, one clove freshly chopped garlic, pinch of cayenne/chilli and a little turmeric (anti-bacterial and liver cleansing).
Add boiling water and steep for about 10 min.
Add 1 teaspoon raw honey and 50 x drops Life Force.
Drink slowly and go straight to bed. 

In acute cases repeat every three hours.
